Future initiatives

Entering the 21st century, the world transcends nations and races. Now, to effectively utilize our limited resources and enrich our own spiritual lives, a global perspective and a shift in consciousness are urgently needed. We Japanese, having lived through a time of material affluence, have perhaps lost something essential that we should never have lost.

That something is our affection, attachment, and care for objects—and simultaneously, it should have been our kindness toward people.

We have made it our corporate mission to define what we must do now. To guide society away from disposability toward a more advanced recycling society, and further, to achieve global environmental conservation—that is, to realize healthier consumption practices on a planetary scale—we clearly recognize our mission and contribute to building a rich, bright society worldwide.

To pass on finite resources, and the limited resources we have consumed, to the next generation—a generation holding boundless potential for the 21st century...
